Our canapé making lessons are a popular choice with Hen Parties too. For just £20.00 per guest (minimum 12 guests) we will supply all the ingredients and inspiration you need to create some fabulous canapés – and the best part is that you get to eat them too! We’ll also include a bottle of fizz to get the party started.
We’ve even had requests from the more refined Stag parties for our canapé lessons and dinner parties – so it’s not just one for the ladies!

‘We asked Karen to cater for my sister’s hen party. I chose well if I say so myself!!! We were salivating even when we met up with Karen to run through the two courses & canapés for the 30 or so hens!! I think I speak for them all when I say I’m still dreaming of the luxury fish pie, slow cooked beef & dauphinois potatoes, let alone the puddings. For a professional, upmarket but remarkably well priced service, Karen & her staff are perfect in my opinion. ‘

Preparations are well underway for our Mothers Day lunch. Roast Beef Yorkshire Pudding. Roast Pork, apple sauce & stuffing, roasties, new potatoes, buttered veg. Sticky toffee pudding, chocolate mousse cups, fresh fruit pavlova, winter berry crumble.... and the list goes on! All got to be served for 1.00 Ashbourne Self Catering Standlow Farm, Derbyshire 🥂👍🏼
And for our second event of the evening, 40 people celebrating a birthday all cooked and Served from domestic kitchen, at the venue. Stargazey fish pie, Beef Bourgignon Chicken tagine Crispy herbed roasties Coriander buttered flatbreads Mixed fresh vegetables Citrus cous cous For dessert Baileys cheesecake Tart au citron Mohito marinated fresh fruit salad Banoffie pie. Was enjoyed emmensely by all guests.
